My Top 10 Romance Movies!

Image
Hey Guys x I love romance movies so much! I love the idea of imagining myself in all of the different romantic situations, as well as fantasizing about the heroes! So I put together a list of my favourite romance movies that I thought you guys might like to watch, or that I think you should watch! I'll also include their trailers, so be sure to watch them! 10: Romeo and Juliet At 10, we have this classic! I first saw it when I was studying Romeo and Juliet for my GCSE's, and I fell in love with it, because it was just so beautiful. I quite like Shakespearean language anyway, I find it quite beautiful, so watching it rather than reading it was really nice. It's the classic love story about a couple who meet, get together, get married, and die for each other within three days! Even if you're not studying this, definitely watch it, particularly the Leonardo Dicaprio version! 9. Sleepless in Seattle This is quite an old movie, but it's so good! I

January Favourites! | 2016

Image
Hey Guys x It's Favourites time once again! This month hasn't been the best in terms of favourites, I've been loving the same things that I loved in December, so there's not that many new things to talk about! I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been loving this month! Favourite Movie: Shelter I have spoken about this film so much in January that I can't talk about it again! But because I loved it so much, I couldn't not put it as this month's favourite film. I'll link the review I did here so that I don't have to write out the whole thing again! Favourite TV Show: The Inbetweeners I have been obsessed with this in January. I watch all three seasons in 3 days! It's about these four British boys who go to sixth form, and are basically on a mission to have fun and have sex, not necessarily in that order! But it's so hilarious! The language is a bit graphic, but I love that about it! Just don't watch it whe

Anxiety | First Doctors Appointment

Image
Hey Guys x About a week and a bit ago, I wrote a post about living with Anxiety, which you can view here . I said in it that I had booked a doctors appointment, to see if I actually had an anxiety disorder or not, and what the next step would be. I also said I'd write a post about it, because I want to keep you guys involved with this process. So I had the appointment today, and I want to write about what happened and what the next step is. I hope that this helps anyone who is contemplating going to the doctor with an anxiety problem! I also have to warn that, I was quite disappointed with the outcome of this appointment. But every doctor is different, every person's symptoms are different, every person is different and your outcome may be different to mine. So, in preparation for the appointment, I made a mental list of my symptoms, as well as the types of situations that make me anxious and what I wanted from that appointment, which was primarily, a diagnosis o

My 10 Favourite Actors!

Image
Hey Guys x Films are something that I'm really passionate about, and I'm really lucky to have seen so many completely amazing films over the past year, and have been introduced to so many amazing actors! So I thought I'd show you some of the actors that I love right now, along with the trailer of my favourite film of theirs! I hope you enjoy seeing my favourite actors! 10. Alan Rickman If any of you don't know, Alan Rickman played Professor Snape in the Harry Potter series and he died 10 days ago, on the 14th January. I, like so many people, was really shocked and incredibly upset by his death, not least because he was such an amazing actor and inspired me. His portrayal as Snape was incredible and there was no one else who could have played that roll as well as he did. RIP Alan Rickman. Favourite Film: Love Actually , All Harry Potter Films 9. Chris Pratt I have loved Chris Pratt ever since I saw Jurassic World, and I still love him! I think he&#

The 'I'm Trying And Here's Why' Tag!

Image
Image Link Hey Guys x I was tagged by Izzy K to do her 'I'm Trying And Here's Why' tag ! She created it herself and I completely love the idea. It's basically about giving yourself credit where credit's due, writing down what you're trying hard that no one else really seems to notice. It's not about bragging or making a big deal about what you do, but about, as I said before, giving yourself the credit and acknowledgement that you deserve, which I think is an amazing idea and I'm so grateful to Izzy for tagging me! *Sorry for the white background! I don't know how to get rid of it without writing it all over again! Izzy's Rules Basically all you need to do is write down a list of things that you try really hard at, and explain why they take a lot of effort to accomplish. Don't worry about sounding cocky or like you're exaggerating, just say how you feel and let it out. Explain your efforts to the world because it'

Should I Be a Beauty Blogger?

Image
Hey Guys x Thanks so much for your messages about yesterday's post, where I wrote about my anxiety. If you haven't seen that post yet, you can view it here ! I don't really put my blog into a category, mainly because there's not one main thing that I post about. This year, I've been getting more into the beauty side of things, trying out different make-up looks, buying more products, things like that. When I first got these products, I considered making the majority of my posts about fashion or beauty. The reason for this was because, as you probably know, beauty posts tend to be the most popular posts. Make-up tutorials, outfits of the day and beauty bargains make up most of the blogosphere and they get the most views, because when people think of blogs, their minds go to Zoella and Tanya Burr, who started their careers with beauty blogs. And of course, I'd like to have a popular blog. Most people who blog want to have a popular blog. It would be a

Living With Anxiety

Image
Hey Guys x This is a post that's really personal and I've wanted to write it for a while, but now I don't know where to start, which is typical! I guess I'll start by directing you to one of Zoe Sugg's vlogmas videos, where she talks in detail about the kind of things that give her anxiety. Her 'Anxiety Chat' starts from around 11 minutes into the video and in it, she talks about finding massages anxious, and why she feels that way. I've mentioned on my blog that I get anxious, but I've never gone into as much depth as I'm going to now, because I've never really known what's made me anxious until now, I've never done any research into it until now. And that stems from the fact that I've booked a doctor's appointment to finally get some help with it, which is scary! But I want to do this, and I want to keep you guys up to date, in case this could help someone. So after I have my appointment (on January 25th) I

Making Your Own Happiness!

Image
Hey Guys x The above quote is one from the Sex and the City movie. I made a note to do a blog post about this quote ages ago but now, at this point in my life, it feels like a good time to write it. Charlotte in the show said that, in her relationship, she felt genuinely happy every day. And, whether about relationships or not, like the Samantha character, I was surprised. How can someone feel happy every day? And then I spoke to people, and found out that I was the weird one, and that most people can feel happy every day, even if not for a long period of time. This got me thinking about my own life, more importantly, my own happiness. There are a lot of things that make me happy. But there are a lot of things that make me feel worried and anxious. And, if I'm honest, my anxiety if the overriding feeling. As in, if I'm feeling anxious about something, then that's the only thing that I can think about. This post is definitely going to be a bi

5 Films You Need To Watch! | 2

Image
Hey Guys x I love recommending films! I'm really into movies and they're one of my favourite things to post about. So I thought I'd tell you about 5 more movies that you should definitely watch if you haven't already, because the ones that I have chosen are completely amazing! If you've seen any of the films that I recommend, let me know what you thought of them in the comments! Shelter I reviewed this last week, so you can read that post here ! It's about two homeless people who find each other in the most random way and decide to stick together. I can't describe how much I love this film and how grateful it made me feel. I have a roof over my head, food, water, the internet, everything I currently need to survive, and of course I've taken that for granted. If I didn't, I'd walk around staring at my surroundings in awe 24 hours a day! But still, it really puts things into perspective, and because of this, I think th

My Top 10 YouTubers! | 4

Image
Hey Guys x I've done this post three times before, the last was in April last year so it's been a while! I love doing this because it allows you guys (and me) to see how my taste in YouTubers changes from year to year, and this one is particularly different because I've kind of been going off 'mainstream' YouTubers so to speak. And by 'Mainstream' I mean really popular ones with over a million subscribers. There are still some in here, but I'm also hoping to introduce you to some others that you've probably heard of but haven't given a chance! Anyway, without further ado, here are my current top 10 YouTubers! 10: Marcus Butler Subscribers: 4,176,928 Right now, I'm really liking Marcus' second channel, MoreMarcus, where he has been posting different videos every single day. I don't love every video that he does, but there are a few that I really do love, particularly when he reads fanfiction (which, as a fanfic writer mys

Working With Brands As A Small Blogger

Image
Hey Guys x Working with brands is something that really interests me, and as some of you have been asking me questions about it lately, I thought I'd give my opinions and some advice about brand deals. You may notice that I haven't done a lot of brand deals, so I'm not the most experienced person in the world. But there's a reason why I turn down most of the deals that are offered to me. Again, this is just my opinion, which doesn't reflect all brands or all bloggers. Also, the term 'small blogger' isn't meant to be offensive, it's just some people that get less views than others, which is completely fine, and I know that a lot of my readers categorise themselves as small bloggers anyway, which I also do. Brands Want YOU This is something that I can't say enough. Often I see bloggers getting really worried about whether they're good enough to work with that brand or about changing the type of post they want to do. When a brand c

Starting A Blog | ItsElla Guest Post!

Image
Hi guys ItsElla..   And today I'm doing a guest post for Lou's world. My blog is over at ellacrabb.blogspot.com where Lou is talking about how to get more blog views. Anyway today I'm going to be telling you how to start a blog, I mean I bet your all thinking either I have no interest in blog starting OR you already have a blog so therefore think this is a bad topic, but stop right there. This is a post saying why you should start a blog, how it helps in life and if your really cut out for the blogosphere. But before we begin I'd just like to tell you that I'm in no way an expert and the only way to really find out any of these things is to try it out yourself, so let's go...   Why you should start a blog.   Well a blog is a great thing to have, it's as if you have got your own space on the Internet, which can be very exciting; also on your blog you can let your imagination run wild, it's your own little creative outlet, so if your bo
