How To: Find New Bloggers!

Before I begin this post, I just wanted to say that I've just been reading the comments on my last post (here) and I honestly can't put into words how much those comments, and you guys individually, mean to me. So thank you very much if you commented on or even read my last post.
 
Anyway, recently, I've been really struggling to find new bloggers, and I figured that some of you guys might be struggling with finding new bloggers too.
 
So then, I had one day where I just found a lot of new bloggers, so I thought that I'd give you guys some tips on how to find new bloggers!
 
Dive Into Popular Bloggers Comments!
 
This is the best place! People who read the blogs of popular bloggers and YouTubers always leave their blog links, just because they want the bloggers to see them. So what I do is, I go on to a popular blogger's latest post (such as Louise/Sprinkle of Glitter) and look though the comments. Then with every blogger, I copy and paste their blog link into a different tab and look through their blog, seeing whether I like it or not. If I like their blog, I leave a comment, with my blog link in case they want to see what my blog is like. This is great because you already know that you have something in common -  the person whose blog you found them on!
 
Dive Into Your Own Comments!
 
When people comment on a blog - any blog - they generally leave their blog link, as I do. It's not so much 'self promo' as just letting people know where to find you. Look at the comments of your own blog and see if people have left comments with their link. If they have, give their blog a thorough look-through. At least you know that they like yours!
 
Mention Popular Accounts On Twitter!
 
This is something that really works for me. I always promote my blog posts on twitter - this is the only social network that I actually use. That being said, I always tweet the link to my post once, then I tweet it again while mentioning certain accounts on twitter who retweet bloggers posts. This way, your posts get retweeted to many people, who then have the option to look at you blog, which really helps!
 
Search For Posts You'd Like To Read!
 
Rather than searching for bloggers and hoping that they have good posts, search for good posts and hope that you find good bloggers. For example, as I like to review things, if I see a new book out or a new film, I search: 'film name - blog review' and I usually find a really great blogger!
 
Get Recommendations From Other Bloggers!
 
This is a great way of finding new bloggers, because if you get recommendations from people you like and trust, then you'll know that the bloggers are good! I do this by looking at the bloggers that my friends link in their posts, because I know that they'd only link someone if they were good!
 
Use Bloglovin'!
 
For me, Bloglovin' is one of the best websites to find new bloggers. This is because, they have many categories for you to find bloggers. For example, I often search the category 'books'. Then I look at all of the different book bloggers and find some that don't have many followers. I could do this for hours!

    These are such great tips. The commenting on popular bloggers one is so great for meeting new bloggers. I was amazed the first time I did it about how many people commented on my blog post afterwards xxx

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. Miller's Girl | Film Review

A creative writing assignment complicates the relationship between a teacher (Martin Freeman) and his student (Jenna Ortega). I heard about this film maybe once and remember being interested in it, but then I never heard anything about it again. So when I saw it was available to rent/buy on Prime Video, I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know what to make of this one. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't a lot to like. The only thing I did like was that Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega worked really well together and had good chemistry. I'd love to see them work together again, in a film with a better plot and a less weird (platonic) relationship. The characters are written really weirdly. There were many moments when they said things that were just so unbelievable, especially Jenna Ortega's character, Cairo. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. Snatch | 100 Movies Bucket List

I'd never heard of this film before last year, when I watched it for the first time, so this time around was my second watch. Guy Richie's movies tend to be a bit hit-or-miss for me. This is one of the only ones where I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. I didn't love the story, it didn't hold my interest the whole way through. But one thing that I absolutely loved was the dialogue. It was smart, quippy and made the film a much more fun watch than the plot itself would suggest. Another thing I absolutely loved was Brad Pitt's performance. This was probably one of my favourite roles of his. He did a great job with the character, and it was really different to everything else I've seen him in. But that being said, all of the performances were great.
