Hey Guys x So it's that time once again, for me to share with you guys the things that I've been loving this month! Sorry this wasn't up on the 28th as I always say they will be. However, the next time I do one of these posts, my exams will be finished and I'll have all the time in the world so I'm choosing to overlook the fact that this is late! Favourite Film: The Avengers Even writing the name of this film fills me with excitement! I know this came out in 2012, but I only saw this film for the first time early this month because I had been convinced that it was a 'boys film'. Oh how wrong I was! This film is the first union of all of the major characters from the Iron Man, Captain America and Thor films coming together to save the earth. This film is epic! There's no other word to describe it - EPIC! Favourite TV Show: Wild At Heart This is a major guilty pleasure of mine. I have been watching Wild At Heart since it first aired on ITV

Driving Around London!

Image
Hey Guys x So last week, randomly, my mum said: "Should we go for a drive?". And of course, rather than sitting at home and revising, I said "Yes!" and we went. I'm lucky enough to not only live in London, but I live within driving distance of a lot of the places that tourists come to visit. So obviously, I took my camera and kept it firmly attached to the car window so that I could take as many pictures as possible to share with you guys! These pictures have all been taken out of the window as I was driving past these landmarks so sorry if the quality isn't the best! So here are the pictures that I took! Big Ben The Houses Of Parliament Westminister Abbey  A Statue near the Houses Of Parliament Parliament again Downing Street (Where the prime minister lives) I think this is the theatre where Carrie Hope Fletcher plays Eponine, so of course I had to get a picture! No, I did not take this picture just because i

The Book Tag!

Image
Hey Guys x I was tagged by the amazing Chloe to do this tag, as she knows how much I love books! You can check out her post here ! Anyway, let me get on with the tag because I could talk about books for ages! The Book Tag! Favourite book? I hate playing favourites with my books, however, I have three books that I have described as my favourites before, that I love so much! They are: 'Boys Don't Cry' by Malorie Blackman, 'Nobody's Girl' by Sarra Manning and 'Ten Things We Shouldn't Have Done' by Sarah Mlynowski. I love them all for different reasons, but they are all amazing books! Favourite Author? I have a few favourite authors, but for me, if I can fall in love with more than one of your books. So as of right now, my favourite is Giovanna Fletcher. I am in love with her first three books, and her fourth is coming out really soon, and I can't wait to read 'Dream a Little Dream'! What Genre Do You Prefer? I am a big lov

Image
Hey Guys x   So, on Friday, I hit 20,000 views on this blog and I immediately took this picture (above) and uploaded it to twitter because I couldn't believe it!   Since then, I have since acquired a further 283 views and I could not be happier!   I posted '10,000' views  back in January, so I thought I would use this post to show you how much things have changed in the last 4 months.   First of all, it amazes me that it took me 9 months to get 10,000 views, and only 4 months to get to 20,000. It's kind of hard to believe!   When I hit 10,000 views, I had 46 followers on bloglovin and over 400 comments altogether.   Now, I have hit 20,000 views, 70 followers and 964 comments, nearing 1,000, and I can't believe how far I've come!   I've expressed my love for Disney, uploaded recipes, reviewed countless books and films, and I interviewed one of my favourite authors!   Every time I post, my blog just expresses more and more o

What Disney Means To Me

Image
(Image Link)   Hey guys x   This is probably one of the things that most of you know about me, aside from the fact that I love books. I am a complete Disney girl!   However, I've never really spoken about why I love Disney so much.   And, just to warn you in advance, this post is going to be a complete ramble because I'm tired, I'm slightly emotional (about to leave college, reflecting on the last 7 years, just hit 20,000 views) and this is just a topic that I really like to talk about!   Now, I am a romantic.   I always have been and I always will be - I can't imagine myself not believeing in true love or the possibility of a happily ever after.   But the first time that I ever saw a story of true love was in Disney.   I remember watching those old Disney movies like Cinderella and Snow White when I was really young, and all I wanted was to have a prince. But then again, I think this is what most girls want at a young age.   But a

That Type Of Person Tag!

Image
Hey Guys x This is a tag that I first saw on Connor Franta's YouTube channel, so I'll put his video below:    As I've been blogging for over a year now, and have a few regular commenters, I wondered about whether or not you guys actually know me.   I've always wanted my blog to be as personal as possible, and I think that Connor's questions (if he created them) are a great way for you guys to get to know me better than a lot of you already do!   Also, please leave some of your answers in the comments so that I can get to know you guys too, this is a two way thing!   1. Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner? Easily dinner. It's usually the time when I eat the best, especially on a school day when breakfast is rushed and lunch is just a sandwich! 2. After you've eaten your bowl of cereal, do you drink the milk?  I don't really eat cereal (and I'm allergic to cows milk) but even so, I'd still say no. Milk has never really appealed t

An Interview With Helen Bailey!

Image
Hey Guys x I reviewed the book 'Running In Heels' here  and spoke about how much I loved it, because it's an amazing book! When I tweeted that I reviewed it, the author Helen Bailey thanked me and followed me, and that was so amazing because I had never had any kind of contact with an author before! Even more amazingly, a few weeks ago, she agreed to give me an interview for my blog!! I can't even explain how grateful I am that she even considered my request, let alone agreed to be interviewed! So thank you so much Helen, it really means a lot! And  when coming up with the questions, I kept you guys in mind, as I know that a lot of you want to get into the writing world as I do, so I hope that my questions and Helen's answers help you out too! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the interview! The Interview Hello Helen, could you please introduce yourself to my readers? Thank you for inviting me to feature in your interview series, Bria Lou! My name is

5 Films You Need To Watch!

Image
Hey Guys x Whenever I skip posting on Wednesdays I feel like it's been ages since I've written, even though it's only been like 4 days! Anyway, I did a post called '5 Books You Need To Read'  and some of you guys seemed to like it. I wanted to do part two of that, but I didn't want to talk about books again. So the next obvious thing to go to was movies! Films are another of my passions and I love when I can just sit down with no responsibility and watch a good movie, so I thought I'd recommend some of my favourites! These are not in a particular order but I think that, from what I say about them, you can tell which are my favourites! Grease This is the first musical I ever saw and is still my favourite. If you haven't seen it, it's about a high school couple (called Danny and Sandy) and all the things that they go through to stay together. It's really fun and the songs are just amazing. Even if you haven't heard it, you'

Awkward Exam Situations!

Image
Hey Guys x For most of us, it's getting to the time now where we're revising for our exams! It's such a stressful time, we have so much to cram into out heads and not a lot of time to do it in. And then, that's it. When we write the last word, exams are finished and our futures are determined... for some of us anyway! So rather than do a serious post about exams (because we don't need that right now!) I thought I'd write about the most awkward situations in exams! These have all either happened to me, I've seen them, or I just imagine how horrible they'd be! They also apply to exam situations in the UK. I don't know how similar or different exam situations are in different countries but I hope that you can still relate if you're not from the UK. Sitting In The Wrong Seat Usually in my college, when we take exams, there is a seating plan on the outside of the exam hall and we are not allowed to speak once we get inside. So one of t

Avengers: Age Of Ultron | Film Review

Image
Hey Guys x I saw the first 'Avengers' movie for the first time last week - I know I'm really late but it just never appealed to me before. Anyway, after watching it, I immediately loved it! And when I say 'loved' I mean seriously, it became (and still is) an obsession! It was also the first 'MARVEL' movie that I ever saw (and now I'm going to literally watch every MARVEL movie ever made!) and I was just so impressed! So the next week, which was yesterday, I watched 'Captain America: Winter Soldier' before going to see 'Age Of Ultron' straight after. If you have no idea what this is, let me give you a breakdown of the characters: Iron Man/Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. A genius billionaire who has managed to create a suit that ensures that a piece of shrapnel that he was impaled with doesn't reach his heart. However, this suit also enables him to fly and carries multiple weapons. He's almost indestructible.
